Filipino ‘dunk king’ David Carlos will compete in slam dunk competitions later this month as part of the University of the Philippines and San Beda University exhibition games at the City of Passi Arena and University of San Agustin gym on March 14 and 15, respectively.
He will be challenged by Sherwin Diama of Iloilo and Manila’s Darwin Cantong.
“We expect it to be an entertaining side event,” said event organizer Rodolfo Go Villaruz. “As we all know, Carlos is a pro dunker while Cantong and Diama [are] also good dunkers.”
“We expect it to be a competitive but entertaining at the same time,” he added.
