Ceneco elections this month

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ceneco) will hold district elections this month with Ceneco Member-Consumer Integrated Services Division head Roel Venus announcing polls will take place on March 14 and 21.
On the first date, a new board of directors will be elected in District I, or Bacolod North, which services Barangays 1 to 7, Bata, Banago, and Mandalagan; along with District VI (Bago City) and District IX (Silay City).
Meanwhile, elections on the second date will be held for District IV, covering Bacolod East, which includes Barangays Villamonte, Montevista, Alangilan, Granada, Estefania, Vista Alegre, Mansilingan, and Abkasa; District V, which is comprised of Bacolod West, including Barangays 8 to 16, 21, 34 to 39, and Singcang-Airport; and District VIII (Talisay City).
As of press time, 12 candidates have filed certificates of candidacy.
Venus said the filing deadline is tomorrow, March 4.
In addition, the Ceneco official said the Annual General Membership Assembly will be held either in April or May./DGB, WDJ
