A bus conductor was shot Wednesday morning in Culasi’s Barangay Centro Sur. Authorities identified the victim as 24-year-old Elboy Zamora of Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental
According to police reports, the bus conductor was sitting inside the Ceres Bus terminal when he was shot by an unknown assailant. He was struck on his left side of his face and right portion of his back.
The suspect fled after the shooting while the victim was brought to Culasi District Hospital and is now in stable condition.
Police Captain Bryan Alamo of the Culasi Municipal Police Station said they have a lead on the suspect’s identity but still need to gather more concrete evidence./WDJ
