A man who was reportedly asleep at a waiting shed in Janiuay’s Barangay Mangil was stabbed to death yesterday. Authorities identified the fatality as Jose Glen Vincent Barranco of the town’s Barangay Abangay.
Police believe the victim was stabbed by Leo Arca, a resident of the town’s Barangay Mangil.
The assailant was arrested and is currently detained at the Janiuay Police Station, where he faces murder charges./WDJ
