Premier Volleyball League (PVL) team Philippine Army Lady Troopers will play the University of St. La Salle (USLS) this weekend, February 8, in the 1st Mayor Neil Lizares III Volleyball Exhibition Game at the Talisay City gym. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. following a preliminary game between teams representing Talisay City and Negros, which starts at 5:00 p.m.
The PVL team includes opposite hitter Jovelyn Gonzaga of Guimaras and Ilongga outside hitter Nerissa Bautista on their roster, along with Mary Jean Balse, Honey Royce Tubino, Tin Ago, and Jem Guttierez. Meanwhile, USLS is coming off a second place finish at the recent WVPRISAA Meet, where they represented Negros Occidental and lost to Iloilo in the finals.
