Negros Occidental wins in beach volleyball

Negros Occidental captured gold in the tertiary men’s and women’s beach volleyball events last Wednesday in the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association Meet last Wednesday in Capiz. The ladies’ side was represented by Rizza Mariniel Bungcayo, Rena Lamina, and Faye Ruth De Lumen of Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias; while the men’s team comprised of University of St. La Salle players Peter Sugaton, Philip Sugaton, and Xel Andrei Villarias.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental also won gold in tertiary men’s volleyball and secondary boys’ volleyball./ASC, WDJ
