The National Police Commission-Western Visayas (Napolcom-6) held their annual inspection and audit of Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) last Wednesday at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City. The annual inspection reviews organizational structure, human resource management, and logistics management at all PRO-6 units.
The inspection and audit seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of Napolcom policies, determine the compliance level of all police units with Napolcom-issued policies and standards; and to understand policy gaps and problems to serve as basis for policy options.
During his welcoming remarks, PRO-6 Personnel and Records Management Division chief, Police Colonel Lope Manlapaz, expressed his appreciation for the commission’s activity as a way to improve the regional police force’s services and initiate change in policies deemed ineffective for the police organization.
The said activity was attended by Napolcom inspection teams, members of the command group, directorial staff, regional chiefs of the national support units, and mobile force commanders./DGB, WDJ
