Sagay City escapee captured in Bacolod City

A Sagay City District Jail inmate who escaped last Wednesday was captured last Thursday in Bacolod City. Police identified the escapee as 24-year-old Ronel Sebuan, a resident of Sagay City who is charged with carnapping.
Following the escape, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Sagay City Police Station immediately alerted all law enforcement units in Negros Occidental
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) spokesperson, Police Lt. Colonel Ariel Pico, said authorities received a tip last Thursday that the suspect was spotted in Bacolod City’s Barangay Estefania, prompting Police Station 4 to conduct an operation.
Police positively identified Sebuan and nabbed him on the spot. He was eventually handed back to the BJMP-Sagay City./DGB, WDJ
