Negrense boxers vie for titles this weekend

Kabankalan City’s Roldan Aldea and Carlo Caesar Peñalosa of San Carlos City will be vying for Games and Amusement Board titles this weekend, February 1, at the Flash Grand Ballroom, located at the Elorde Sports Complex in Parañaque City. Aldea will be defending his lightweight belt against Monico Laurente, while Peñalosa will be fighting for the flyweight title against Alphoe Dagayloan.
Aldea, who is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Uzbek boxer Ravshanbek Umurzakov last September, enters the bout with a 14-8-1 win-loss-draw record, including eight stoppage wins. Meanwhile, his opponent currently carries a 30-16-0 slate with seven knockout wins.
Peñalosa is also looking to bounce back after falling via technical decision to Maximino Flores last August.
He comes into the fight with a 14-2-0 win-loss-draw record, including two stoppage wins; while Dagayloan has a 14-3-5 slate with five knockout wins./ASC, WDJ
