A man was found dead earlier this week after he apparently hanged himself in a room he was renting in Barangay North Baluarte in Iloilo City’s Molo district. Authorities identified the fatality as 23-year-old Danilo Barlas of Roxas City’s Barangay Arcabalo.
According to police, the remains were found hanging from a leather belt at 6:15 p.m. last Tuesday when a fellow boarder entered the room to question why stayed inside.
Family and relatives of the victim, who had reportedly complained of a severe headache prior to his body being found, were convinced he had committed suicide./WDJ
