The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) said they are closely investigating an apparent pattern with recent deaths and individuals on drugs watchlists. According to BCPO spokesperson, Police Lt. Colonel Ariel Pico, they already have several persons of interest but declined to confirm if it is one group involved in the murders.
“It’s too early to declare if there is one person or one group involved in the killings,” he explained.
Earlier this month, Barangay 2 Kagawad Romeo Canlas, Johnny Lizzo, and Richard Tutop were gunned down in separate incidents. All three were previously listed on a police drugs watchlist./DGB, WDJ
