Amid the ongoing Bible Week observance, a Bible Drill and Bible Quiz were recently held at the Bacolod City Government Center. Rajah Miles Quijano of Domingo Lacson National High School was named winner of the Bible Drill; while Jasmien Angelie Ancheta, Kara Ysabella Cobias, and Ken Nikolai Esparas of Bacolod National High School won the Bible Quiz.
Bacolod City Councilor Renecito Novero, who chairs the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Education, delivered a congratulatory message to the winners.
A Bible concert at the SM City Bacolod atrium is scheduled to take place this Sunday, January 26, followed by a culminating event, including an awards ceremony.
Meanwhile, on Monday, January 27, the last day of the observance, a special event will be held during the flag-raising ceremony at the Bacolod City Government Center./WDJ
