With the ongoing delays surrounding infrastructure projects started during the administration of former Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr., in a recent interview with Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer called for transparency on government transactions.
After receiving a list of ongoing projects, he said Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa provided an explanation during recent budget hearings but, pointed out, details and data remain incomplete.
Ferrer added, government officials have a mandate to scrutinize and monitor every project./DGB, WDJ
