The Philippine Coast Guard made three arrests between Thursday and yesterday morning following attempts to smuggle illegal drugs through Bacolod City’s Bredco Port. Authorities identified the arrested suspects as 26-year-old Jesryl Tibay, 19-year-old Reymhon Guelos, and 40-year-old Bryan Toledo.
Philippine Coast Guard-Negros Occidental commander, Lt. Commander Jansen Benjamin, said Tibay and Guelos are bound for the Port of Dumangas when they were intercepted last Thursday during an inspection and were caught carrying shabu.
The following morning, law enforcement personnel arrested Toledo after they recovered a sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The three face illegal drugs charges and have since been turned over to Police Station 2./DGB, WDJ
