Three drug suspects were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation around 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Sitio Dapdap in Silay City’s Barangay Lantad.

Silay City Police Station OIC chief, Police Major Rollie Pondevilla, identified the suspects as Renante Romal, 30; Teddy Espinosa, 31, single; and Merlyn Pineda Romal, 58, single, all residents of the said barangay.

Police confiscated from the suspects eight heat sealed of suspected shabu including a buy-bust item using P3,500 buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained at the lockup cell of Silay City Police Station and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
