Fulbright Philippines, a scholarship program administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF), will be taking their scholarship roadshow to Panay this week, making stops in Aklan, Capiz, and Iloilo.
The events, where interested students can learn about American scholarship opportunities, will take place on Thursday, January 9, at Northwestern Visayan Colleges in Kalibo, Aklan; Friday, January 10, at Filamer Christian University in Roxas City, Capiz; and Saturday, January 11, at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City.
The orientations, where those interested can register through either the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines or Fulbright Philippines Facebook pages, will offer students the chance to ask questions about certain programs, learn about eligibility, discuss the application process, among other topics.
According to their website, PAEF was established in 1948 through an agreement signed by the governments of the United States and the Philippines in order to carry out educational exchanges for students, academics, and professionals from both countries./WDJ
