Brownlee, Durham

up for ‘Best Import’

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel forward Justin Brownlee and Meralco Bolts forward-center Allen Durham are both in contention for the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup “Bobby Parks PBA Best Import of the Conference” award. Despite TNT KaTropa small forward KJ McDaniels currently leading the race, both players are expected to continue building up their records as they suit up for their respective teams in the upcoming 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-seven finals series, which start next week, January 7.
McDaniels is currently sitting on 58.6 statistical points, wherein a player earns one point for every point scored, rebound assist, steal, and blocked shot; Brownlee is currently second place with 57.2, followed by Durham at 56.9.
The Meralco Bolts player has won the award on two previous occasions.
The winner of ‘Best Import’ will be revealed during Game 4 of the PBA Governors’ Cup finals series on January 15./ASC, WDJ
