Following the signing of a memorandum of agreement earlier this week between Hinoba-an Mayor Ernesto Estrao and Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, the mayor yesterday confirmed a P125 million 50-bed hospital will be built in the town.
He said the hospital will be run and managed by the provincial government, who will also fund the construction.
Meanwhile, the Hinoba-an municipal government donated the one-hectare lot in the town’s Barangay Pook, where the hospital will be located.
Estrao said that the provincial government will also assign, along with provide salaries and benefits, for all the hospital staff including doctors and nurses.
“The construction of the new hospital will start early next year,” the mayor further revealed./DGB, WDJ
