Bacolod City continues to collect gold medals

Area 7, which represents Bacolod City in the Palarong Panlalawigan 2019, continued to collect gold medals at the Manuel Y. Torres Sports Center in Bago City.
Carla Largavista captured gold in the secondary girls’ 1,500-meters, Julian Pranisa won the secondary girls’ 200-meter dash, Tristan Plorita and Marden Villaruel swept the boys’ 200-meter dash with the former ruling the elementary division and the latter topping the secondary category, Kate Andrea Lim took the secondary boys’ high jump, and Amor Villavicencio conquered the secondary girls’ javelin throw.
Among other medal winners, Joyce Santia won bronze in the secondary girls’ 1,500-meters and Kyla Joe Loredo took bronze in the secondary girls’ 200-meter dash.
In total, the Bacolod City squad has won 11 gold medals, along with one silver and five bronze medals./ASC, WDJ
