A 21-year-old man was recently found dead in Kabankalan City’s Barangay Camansi after reportedly drowning while crossing a river.
The victim was identified as Alex Albana.
Initial investigations by the Kabankalan City Police Station disclosed that Reden Albaña, the victim’s brother, spotted the remains floating in a river on December 10.
According to the victim’s father, it is possible this son was crossing the river but failed to assess the depth of the river./DGB, WDJ
