A 13-year-old girl recently sought assistance from the Murcia Municipal Police, claiming she had been sexually assaulted by her father.
Police have requested not to identify the victim.
Murcia Municipal Police Chief, Police Major Robert Dejucos, said last Friday, the victim, accompanied by her mother, visited the station to file a complaint against the father.
The minor claimed she has been repeatedly raped by her father since 2014, with the latest incident taking place early Thursday morning.
Dejucos said the victim underwent medical examination and they are currently awaiting the results.
The victim and her mother were also placed under police protection in order to prevent the suspect from approaching them while the case is being prepared./DGB, WDJ
