At least P1.2 million worth of suspected shabu was seized by members of the Bacolod City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (BCPO-CDEU) during a buy-bust operation at Purok St. Vincent in Bacolod City’s Barangay Alijis, Sunday afternoon.

Police identified the arrested as Mohaisin Magondacan, 24, a resident of the said place.

BCPO director, Police Colonel Henry Biñas, said Magondacan is considered as high-value drug target and one of the most elusive drug suppliers in Bacolod City.

Biñas said the drugs seized from Magondacan came from Mindanao, with some of the drug suspects previously arrested pointing at Magondacan as their supply den.

Police recovered five elongated and 20 big sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect with an estimated weight of around 100 grams.

Authorities also seized a black pouch and the P1,000 marked money used in the operation.

Magondacan is presently facing illegal drug charges and is currently detained at Police Station 7./DGB, WDJ
