A 58-year old man died after he was stabbed and hacked inside his residence at Strangers Paradise Village in Sipalay City’s Barangay San Jose around 6:00 p.m. of November 21.

Police identified the fatality as LitoBawa-an.

Sipalay City Police Station arrested the suspects 24-year old Jay-r Bacorna and 47-year old BonifacioTabanao, both fromSipalay City.

Initial investigation revealed that the suspects entered the house of the Bawa-an and suddenly hacked and stabbed him.

The victim sustained multiple wounds to the body causing his immediate death, police said.

Recovered from the crime scene were a 13-inch long kitchen knife and a 20-inch long bolo.

Police said further investigation has been done to determine the motive of killing./WDJ
