At least P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized Sunday afternoon following a buy-bust operation in Silay City’s Barangay Mambulac.

Police identified the arrested suspect as 50-year-old Hector Pabon, a resident of the said barangay.

Silay City police chief, Police Major Rollie Pondevilla, said they arrested Pabon after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer in exchange for P4,500.

A follow-up search of the suspect and his residence yielded 12 additional sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a weighing scale, notebook, coin purse, and mobile phone.

Pabon faces illegal drugs charges and is currently detained at the Silay City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
