Pulupandan school earns fancy drill three-peat
Pulupandan’s Enriqueta Montilla de Esteban Memorial High School earned a three-peat in the annual Invitational Fancy Drill Competition, which took place in Bago City during the Cinco de Noviembre observance earlier this week.
The school took home P25,000 for the win. In addition, they also won Best in Street Performance, which came with a P5,000 cash prize.
STI-West Negros University came in second place and won P20,000; in addition, they were also named Best in Production Number. Meanwhile, Lopez Jaena National High School of Murcia took third place and was awarded P15,000, along with taking Best in Uniform.
Among other special award recipients were Bago City’s Ramon Torres National High School winning Best Narration; while Domingo Lacson National High School of Bacolod City took Most Disciplined, along with the school’s Cadet Colonel Diona Mandadero winning Best Platoon Leader.
Each special award came with a cash prize of P5,000 and a plaque of recognition./WDJ
