As a result of the partnership agreed upon between Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) and online English education platform 51Talk, the Talisay City school will be hosting an “English as a Foreign Language” campaign intended to immerse teachers, students, and graduates with the home-based online English teaching industry.
“Through this partnership with 51Talk, our new graduates will have a competitive advantage to quickly land a livelihood opportunity immediately after graduation,” said CHMSC External Affairs Director Rhoderick Samonte. “We thank 51Talk as this will enable us to hone students and produce graduates that are excellent English communicators, which is among our core goals here at CHMSC.”
51Talk announced they would enhance the school’s speech laboratory by providing software and training materials.
“By promoting this to the high-quality graduates CHMSC produces year-on-year, we are providing them a career path towards becoming a home-based online English teacher,” explained 51Talk country head Jennifer Que./WDJ
