K-Pop rookie group to perform this weekend
K-Pop rookie group Dustin is scheduled to perform at the Bacolod City Government Center this weekend as part of the ongoing MassKara Festival. They will be holding a free concert on Saturday, October 26, beginning at 9:00 p.m. at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds.
The boy band, managed by LPA Entertainment, was introduced earlier this year as a quintet but has since grown to a seven-member group. Their performances, primarily covers of BTS songs, are available on social media and YouTube.
The concert is being sponsored by the Federation of Artistic and Culture Organization, along with government officials and association presidents from Daegu, South Korea.
After Bacolod City, the band is scheduled to perform in Clark.
Last year, K-Pop boy band Rion Five performed during the festival.
Debuting in 2014, the five-member group includes Taewoo, the group’s main rapper, who appeared on the second season of “Produce 101,” which created the boy band Wanna One. Taewoo finished in 49th place.
Other performances during this year’s concert include modern dance performers from the Buan Art Force Dance Company and traditional performances by the Mugunghwa Dance Group./WDJ
