New MassKara Queen to be crowned tonight

A new MassKara Queen will be crowned tonight with coronation night scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall activity center.
“The MassKara Festival celebrations are not complete without the MassKara Queen,” said Ayala Capitol Central Mall Marketing Manager Stephanie Soriano.
Christine Mendoza, Roem Alcaen, Moira Maci Abesamis, Andrea Sagario, Trecia Tuquero, Vina Marie Peña, Chaira Victoria Juarez, Chainee May Ang, Janine Cabrillos, and Queenie Edessa Amarante will be vying for the crown.
It was earlier announced that former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz would serve as one of the judges. The veteran actress was crowned Miss Universe in 1969.
Also named to the judging panel were celebrity columnist Tessa Prieto-Valdes and image consultant Jojie Dingcong. The latter, a Bacolod City native, currently serves as a talent manager for Derek Ramsay, Paolo Ballesteros, among others.
Earlier this month, during a MassKara Queen press presentation at the Resorts Negrense in Bacolod City’s Barangay Punta Taytay, Candidate No. 3 Moira Abesamis, a 21-year-old tourism management student at the University of St. La Salle, was named “Darling of the Press.”
