The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Ceneco) informs consumers connected to Alijis Feeders 4 and 5 that maintenance activities will be conducted on Wednesday, October 23. This is to ensure the reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damage that may result in major power interruptions.

Reason:
- Relocation and replacement of wood pole
- Transfer of primary and secondary assemblies to the new pole
- Replacement of existing capacitor bank
Time: From 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Areas Affected: Transcom; Oriental & Motolite; A1 Gas; Viva; Alijis Road, from Alijis Substation to Airport Terminal; Bacolod Memorial Park; Asian Alcohol; Sasson Furniture; Jade Court II; VL Yap; Good Year and Teletech (Robinsons Metro); Lopue’s South Square; Baronnesa Metal Corporation; and the rear of the Alijis Substation
Electricity consumers are further advised, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned off for safety reasons. When the electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10 to 15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
