Former Miss Universe among this year’s MassKara Queen judges

Former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz was recently announced as one of the judges in this year’s MassKara Queen competition. The veteran actress was crowned Miss Universe in 1969.
Also named on the judging panel are celebrity columnist Tessa Prieto-Valdes and image consultant Jojie Dingcong. The latter, a Bacolod City native, currently serves as a talent manager for Derek Ramsay, Paolo Ballesteros, among others.
Last weekend, during a MassKara Queen press presentation at the Resorts Negrense in Bacolod City’s Barangay Punta Taytay, Candidate No. 3 Moira Abesamis, a 21-year-old tourism management student at the University of St. La Salle, was named “Darling of the Press.”
Coronation night is scheduled for October 23, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall activity center.
