Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is scheduled to deliver a report highlighting the accomplishments of his first 100 days in office. He will also discuss the seven-point agenda of his “Abanse Negrense” platform.
The governor previously introduced the initiative during his swearing-in ceremony earlier this year.
“I call on our people to join me and our provincial officials as we pursue a vision our shared vision and deserve our ideals for the common good,” Lacson said. “We are connected as one family, one community, and one solid government.”
At the time, the governor said he planned to concentrate on the agriculture, education, health, tourism, and economic sectors.
In addition, during the 73rd Negros Island Region Teachers Federation Inc. representative assembly, which took place at the Negros Occidental Teachers Federation Multi-Purpose Activity Center in Bacolod City last July, he said “Abanse Negrense” prioritizes education.
Most notably, during his first 100 days, Lacson oversaw the formation of task forces against African swine fever and dengue./DGB, WDJ
