The Alaska Aces scored a 78-71 win over the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup last night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Franko House scored a double-double for Alaska with 23 points and 22 rebounds, Jeron Teng made his return with 18 points, and Simon Enciso and Vic Manuel each had nine markers.
The win was their first victory in five matches.
“Was it always this hard to get a win?” Alaska head coach Jeffrey Cariaso asked. “Seriously, I’m just happy to get the monkey off our backs.”/ASC, WDJ
