Choreographers’ dance showdown begins today

Choreographers for the 14 barangays competing in the Street and Arena Dance Competition will also be participating in the MassKara Choreographers’ Dance Showdown, which begins today. The event will see groups of eight to 10 members battling in a “street dance showdown.”
According to MassKara Festival Director Eli Tajanlangit, the competition run Monday to Thursday. Four teams will compete each night with presentations at the Bacolod Public Plaza at 7:00 p.m. and Bacolod City Government Center at 9:00 p.m.
The first pairings will see Alex John Calumba take on Joedem Casabuena and Ronelo Mabilog against Agustin Seban.
The final championship is scheduled for October 22.
