The University of Santo Tomas (UST) completed a sweep of the 82nd UAAP women’s beach volleyball elimination round earlier this week at the Sands at SM by the Bay in Pasay City with a 21-16, 21-18 win over De La Salle University (DLSU). The UST pair of Babylove Barbon and Gen Eslapor’s earned a twice-to-beat advantage in this weekend’s semifinals after attaining a 7-0 record.
Meanwhile, DLSU has the same edge after finishing in second place.
In other results, Far Eastern University scored a 21-13, 21-19 win over the University of the East; Ateneo de Manila University completed a 21-17, 21-19 victory over Adamson University; and University of the Philippines beat National University, 21-6, 21-3./ASC, WDJ
