Around 30 San Carlos Tricycle Operators Drivers Association tricycle operators recently underwent first aid and basic life support training and were certified as first aid responders.
City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) Executive Officer Joe Alingasa said identification cards and reflectorized vest will be issued to certified tricycle operators.
He noted, the training, which was part of the CDRRMO Road Safety Program, prioritized tricycle operators and encouraged other public transportation operators to enroll in the same training.
The first aid certification is valid for two years./WDJ
