San Miguel beats Shenzhen, 90-76

The San Miguel Beermen scored a 90-76 win over the Shenzhen Aviators of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) earlier this week in the ongoing East Asia Super League-Terrific 12 at the Tap Seac Stadium in Macau.
Dez Wells led San Miguel with 29 points, eight rebounds, five steals, and four assists; while Terrence Romeo contributed17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists; Chris Ross supplied 11 points, six rebounds, six steals, five assists, and a block; Christian Standhardinger scored 11 points; and Lester Prosper contributed 10.
The Beermen went on a rampage early on courtesy of Wells and Prosper as they built a 33-13 advantage but, in the second half, Shenzhen managed to close the gap to 62-61.
The PBA team went on to regain its form as Romeo’s back-to-back three-point conversions gave them an 80-67 advantage with over four minutes left in the game.
Meanwhile, the other Philippine teams participating in the competition both lost as Blackwater Elite fell to Seoul SK Knights of the Korean Basketball League, 93-77; while CBA side Liaoning Flying Leopards scored a 96-91 win over TNT KaTropa./ASC, WDJ
