‘Tourism Week’ observed in Bago City

Bago City recently observed tourism week, which ran from September 2 to 5. According to Senior Tourism Operations Officer Rosseni Mina, “We highlighted the role of tourism industry in providing job for the Bagonhons.”
Among the activities that took place included a motorcade, Farm Tourism Day, tourism quiz, along with holding a Tourism Congress.
In addition, the Tourism Affairs Office recognized various entities for their contribution to local tourism including the Negros First Organic Technology Center, RMD Agri-Tourism Industries and Training Center, L.E. Complex and Pension Corporation, 1966 Café and Restaurant, Tumandok Crafts and Industries, J Resort, Buenos Aires Mountain Resort, House of Mugs, and Villa Escamilla.
According to the data from the tourism office, Bago City welcomed 301,388 tourists last year./WDJ
