Rolando Servania of Bacolod City needed just one round against Jerry Pabila to take the World Boxing Council-Asian Boxing Council youth super bantamweight belt earlier this week in Polomolok, South Cotabato. The fight was the Bacolodnon’s first professional boxing championship bout since his debut in 2013.
The Negrense immediately went to work after the opening bell sounded, proceeding to pound and floor Pabila with consecutive combinations to easily win the title.
With the victory, Servania has maintained his untarnished 10-0-0 record, while nabbing his fourth stoppage win; while Pabila dropped to a 6-2-0 record with four knockout wins.
In the undercard, San Carlos City boxer Elmer Colve was unable to compete in the undercard. John Vincent Moralde instead faced Jovany Rota, who he easily defeated./ASC, WDJ
