The Iloilo City government recently announced Sunburst Park, located in the city’s City Proper district, will be having free movie screenings every Friday at 6:00 p.m. beginning today.
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas said the project will “bring life to the downtown area” and offer an opportunity to “enjoy the movies with family and friends.”
Last month, with the mayor earlier initiating the planting of ilang-ilang trees across the city, one such tree was recently planted in Sunburst Park.
Executive Assistant for Environment Armando Dayrit led the planting as a means of enhancing the existing plants already present in the area./WDJ
