Wanted man intercepted at Bredco Port

A man wanted for homicide was intercepted over the weekend by Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel at the Bredco Port in Bacolod City.
Authorities identified the suspect as Sunny Boy Francisco, a resident of Cadiz City’s Barangay Caduha-an.
Based on information provided by PCG-Bacolod station, Police Chief Master Sergeant Rodney Ruiz of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office informed them Francisco was scheduled to board a vessel bound for Manila.
Francisco’s arrest warrant was issued on November 17, 2011 by Executive Judge Renato Muñez of the Cadiz City Regional Trial Court-Branch 60.
PCG personnel and local police immediately went to the Bredco Port to pursue Francisco, which resulted in his arrest.
Francisco has since been formally turned over to the Cadiz City police./DGB, WDJ
