Five current Busmen made the roster

After it was earlier reported that the Philippines men’s national football team, the Azkals, called up four Ceres-Negros FC players—defender Carli de Murga, midfielders Mike Ott and Stephan Schröck, and striker OJ Porteria—it was recently revealed Ceres defender Sean Kane was also named to the squad.
The Azkals are set to kick off the second round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds on Thursday, September 5, when they play Syria at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
It was also previously noted, several former players for the Bacolod City-based club were also called up, including defenders Álvaro Silva and Armani Aguinaldo, along with midfielders Martin Steuble and Patrick Reichelt. In addition, three other former Busmen also made the squad, midfielders Manuel Ott, Iain Ramsay, and Kevin Ingreso.
Also named to the roster were Patrick Deyto, Daisuke Sato, Angel Guirado, Jovin Bedic, Mark Hartmann, Michael Falkesgaard, Kevin Hansen, Justin Baas, Marco Casambre, Yrik Galantes, Patrick Strauss, and Javier Patino.
After Syria, the Azkals next face Guam at the Guam FA Field on September 10./ASC, WDJ
