A 16-year-old was killed last Wednesday following a brawl with three individuals at Purok Kawayanan in Bacolod City’s Barangay Handumanan.
Police Station 10 (PS10) commander, Police Captain Armilyn Vargas, requested anonymity for the victim and suspects but confirmed two of the three assailants are already in custody.
Vargas added, the two arrested suspects are aged 17 and 22 years old.
Based on an investigation carried out by police, prior to the teen’s murder, the victim and the suspects had been involved in past conflicts.
A brawl ensued when the parties encountered each other at a local sari-sari store in the area with one of the suspects pulling out a firearm and shooting the teenager, killing him on the spot.
Vargas said the victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
PS10 is presently conducting a manhunt operation against the remaining suspect./DGB, WDJ
