Cignal HD, F2 Logistics take last semifinal slots

The Cignal HD Spikers and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers earned the last two 2019 Philippine SuperLiga All-Filipino Conference semifinal spots over the weekend. The Petron Blaze Spikers and Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy entered the semifinals last week.
Cignal secured a 25-15, 17-25, 25-18, 25-22 win over the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers with Rachel Anne Daquis top-scoring with 14 points; Alohi Robins-Hardy delivering an all-around game with 19 excellent sets, 13 points, and seven blocks; Mylene Paat adding 12 points; and Jovelyn Gonzaga scoring 10.
“We had enough preparation for this round and I told them that our fate is in our hands; they really gave everything,” said Cignal head coach Edgar Barroga. “It was a challenge for us.”
They will face Petron in the semifinals tomorrow.
In the other match, F2 Logistics scored a 25-10, 25-14, 25-17 sweep over the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors./ASC, WDJ
