Jones, Castro earn Commissioner’s Cup honors

TNT KaTropa’s Terrence Jones and Jayson Castro each bagged individual 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup honors last night during Game 4 of the ongoing finals series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Jones was named “Best Import” after garnering 1254 points. He beat out Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s Justin Brownlee, San Miguel Beermen’s Chris McCullough, and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters’ Carl Montgomery.

Meanwhile, Castro won “Best Player of the Conference” with 1077 points.

Also vying for the award were San Miguel Beermen’s June Mar Fajardo, Blackwater Elite’s Bobby Ray Parks, Jr., Columbian Dyip’s Jaymar Perez, and NorthPort Batang Pier’s Robert Bolick, Jr./ASC. WDJ
