The Generika-Ayala Lifesavers pulled off a 25-17, 20-25, 25-14, 25-9 victory over the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors in the 2019 Philippine SuperLiga All-Filipino Conference last Thursday at the San Juan Arena.
Ilongga outside hitter Fiola Ceballos top-scored for the winning side with 16 points, including 15 spikes; while Bacolodnon outside hitter Patty Jane Orendain had a double-double on 15 points and 16 excellent digs; Marivic Meneses scored 11 points; and Mary Ann Mendrez added eight markers.
Aside from dropping the second set, Generika-Ayala overwhelmed their opponents in all departments.
In the other match, Cignal HD Spikers scored a 25-23, 21-25, 25-14, 25-21 win over the Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy./ASC, WDJ
