The BRT Sumisip Basilan-St. Clare Saints pulled off a 114-81 domination of the Alberei Kings last Thursday in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Paco Arena in Manila.
Jhaps Bautista top-scored for the winning side with 21 points and five assists; while Cris Dumapig scored18 points.
After Basilan-St. Clare delivered an 11-3 scoring run, turning a slim two-point edge to a commanding 27-17 lead after the opening period, they went on to take a 61-34 halftime edge. The lead grew to as much as 37 points after a Clarence Tiquia pulled off a jumper with just over six minutes left in the game.
