An estimated P900,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized Sunday night by joint operatives from the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit-6, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and Police Station 2 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Tilapia in Bacolod City’s Barangay 3.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Joemarie ‘Aming’ Fortuna and John Niel Ongada, both residents of the said area.
Authorities seized a total of 12 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug money amounting to P9,000.
Both suspects are presently detained at Police Station 2 and are facing illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
