Yanson says his siblings’ plans will eventually fail
By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga

Leo Rey Yanson, who was earlier ousted as president of Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI), parent company of the Ceres bus liner, said he is fully committed to the cause of his mother, family matriarch Olivia Yanson, who is seeking to “protect the interests of the company’s employees.”
According to Leo Rey, who was replaced by his older brother, Roy, he did not expect his siblings to take such aggressive action, such as last weekend’s attempt to occupy a department at the Ceres Bus Liner South Terminal.
However, he predicted their actions will ultimately fail as he claimed those controlling the significant departments, including operations and maintenance, are his “trusted employees.”
Over the weekend, the current administration overseeing VTI moved to replace the company’s security company, hiring AY-76 Security Specialists Incorporated to replace the AGNSA Negros Security Agency.
In response to the changes, Olivia Yanson confronted Roy at the Ceres Bus Liner North Terminal, claiming he had no right to make such changes since the courts have yet to issue a writ of preliminary injunction. Meanwhile, the former president brought a similar message to the Ceres Bus Liner South Terminal.
Following the incident, VTI issued a statement indicating: “We apologize for any inconvenience that resulted from the misunderstanding covering the change in our security personnel in our Bacolod City terminals.”
The company noted, the turnover was under the supervision of the Philippine National Police-Supervisory Office on Security and Investigation Agencies./DGB, WDJ
