Habitat for Humanity Philippines is scheduled to host their Asia-Pacific Housing Forum from July 29 to 31 at the New World Makati Hotel. The event seeks to devise solutions for ongoing housing issues affecting impoverished communities, along with promoting affordable housing.
This year, the event will focus on land ownership as a key to “socialized housing,” public and private sector solutions for housing, and climate change and building disaster-resilient communities.
Last year, Habitat for Humanity Philippines brought their Young Leaders Build Campaign to Silay City with a program at the Bon-bon Resettlement Project Phase III, located in the city’s Barangay E. Lopez.
