Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said he would like the ongoing dispute over control of Vallacar Transit Inc. (VTI), parent company of the Ceres Bus Liner, between siblings Roy Yanson and Leo Rey Yanson, with the former earlier ousting the latter as company president, gets settled.
“I personally [know] them, some are even close to me,” he noted. “If it’s a government matter, I [would] give my comment; however, it’s a family feud.”
Meanwhile, with regard to the Negros Occidental Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL), after earlier indicating hopes United Negros Alliance (UNegaA) candidate, Sagay City Councilor Arthur Marañon, runs unopposed to lead the Negros Occidental chapter, the vice governor confirmed Love Negros would be fielding a candidate.
Ferrer said PCL is not part of the UNegaA-Love Negros merger.
